Unless your dog is a breed with a thick double coat, the cold weather will be a source of misery for your pup. Many dogs are not bred to withstand the cold. Try to bring her in at night or provide lots of thrift store blankets and an old sofa cushion in the dog house. Cover open windows with flaps. This is a legal requirement and you can be fined if reported.
