The 2nd Annual 'Walk on Washington'

April19ww6webThe United Neighborhoods Neighborhood Council (UNNC) and the Arlington Heights Neighborhood Association are partnering again for the 2nd Annual Walk On Washington along the Washington Blvd. business corridor of Arlington Heights, Angelus Vista and Western Heights.

The event is scheduled for May 4, 2019, from noon to 5 pm and will take place on Washington Blvd between Bronson Avenue and Wilton Place.

The community will have a chance to explore the many  businesses, art galleries, restaurants, boutiques, historic architecture and entrepreneurs that serve this hidden historical and culturally diverse neighborhood.

Over 30 participating businesses on the mile-long route between the Washington Irving Library and Wilton Place will open their doors to the public during the event, creating the opportunity for neighbors and the businesses to interact, with the goal of creating a stronger, more connected community.

There will be local food, music, entertainment and community information all along the route.
