Mid-City Resident Throws His Hat into the Political Ring

By the time you read this, voters will have gone to the polls on  Dec. 3rd, to vote in a special election for District 54.

This area covers Culver City, Baldwin Hills, Century City, Crenshaw, Leimert Park, Mar Vista, Mid-City, UCLA, West Los Angeles, Westwood, Inglewood,Ladera Heights & View Park-Windsor Hills.

Mid-City's very own John Jake has thrown his hat in the ring as a first time political candidate.  Mr. Jake is currently president of the Olympic Park Neighborhood Council and feels a strong calling to be of greater service to his community.

(The seat was won by Sebastion Ridley-Thomas, son of Mark Ridley-Thomas. John received 930 votes)
