2 Youths Booked on Suspicion in Koreatown

Koreatown: When two plainclothes officers from LAPD’s Olympic station confronted men who had opened fire on a woman in Koreatown, the shooters turned the guns on them inflicting facial wounds in both officers.  One officer suffered serious wounds to his eye and is reported in serious but stable condition after surgery on Oct.1. The other officer was released with minor injuries. Two juveniles were taken into custody Sept. 30  and booked on suspicion of attempted murder.
