FOR ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ‘NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME’

The event was a great success showing a 400% increase in participating neighbors and demonstrating the community’s commitment to unifying the neighborhood and keeping it safe as well as great.  Funds from the UNNC (United Neighborhoods Neighborhood Council) helped pay for signs. City agency luminaries made a strong showing including Senior Lead Officer Roditis, the LAPD Capt. Davis, City Attorney Capri Maddox, Wendy Fraticelli, Billie Green and Sylvia Lacy from CD10 and Fabiola Vilchez from the Mayor’s office.  After the walk everyone gathered at the Eureka Café where Johnny and Teresa Green graciously donated their space for the after-walk pot luck. The LAFD invited participants to take a ride on the fire truck fulfilling the childhood dream of many of the adults.
