SHOPPING CENTER GETS FACELIFT

AuG16FoodForLess

The Shopping Center at Venice & Western is getting a much deserved face lift over the next six months according to the managers of Food 4 Less, CVS, Payless Shoes and Fallas Clothing & Home Decor.

For a number of years neighbors have placed calls to the retailer’s corporate headquarters and are finally getting the much needed response to rehabilitate and upgrade both the edifices and the adjoining parking lots.  Payless will get their new facade first while other upgrades follow closely behind.

Food 4 Less is based in Michigan but their community outreach is in West Virginia. Their staff explained they are redesigning and decorating 17 stores throughout the US and our local store is one of the lucky recipients.

The parking lots (in front and back of store) require new concrete grades, exit and entrances and outdoor fencing.  Anna's Linens has left but will be replaced by a Fallas Home Decor store who is also renting an additional building for discount clothing and school uniforms.
