Starting from scratch six years ago, Inri Aguilar successfully built up a popular local community cafe where artists, politicians, community movers and shakers come to sit, eat, drink lots of coffee, plan, work on projects, and have meetings. Some come to find an antidote to loneliness by surrounding themselves with muted chatter and classic Mexican music playing softly in the background.  At her recent 6th anniversary event she was awarded the El Salvador Corridor Chamber of Commerce  Certificate of Achievement for her support of local culture, by providing a venue for their expression through various ongoing events.
