On April 30 The Fifth Avenue Block Club, local residents and CERT members partnered with UNNC and the Emergency Management Dept. to stage a full scale emergency event designed to educate local residents on how to help each other in the event of a crisis. Police, Fire Dept. and local emergency personnel were on hand to guide and oversee the plan developed with the community and the planning team of Constant and Associates.
