WEST ADAMS FAMILY FUNCTION

We've previously brought attention to the excitement and growth along the West Adams Blvd. Corridor (running from just east of La Brea to Fairfax). The excitement has not abated, with new community-minded businesses and residents working together to build identity by providing exciting events that appeal to locals and people from around the city.

West Adams Family, an organization run by residents Sean Horton, Glennie Rabin and Mike Zwahlen, along with Runway Boutique’s business owner Fatima Dodson and Rick Ross from Delicious Pizza, are all on a mission to "connect community through culture” by creating events that highlight local businesses, artists, and activities, in an effort to make this section of West Adams Blvd. a community and city-wide destination.

Since their inception, West Adams Family has partnered events with LACMA, Vote Together, Delicious Pizza and the West Adams Block Party. They are currently producing the exciting "West Adams Family Function" event, which takes place every second Saturday of the month at Delicious Pizza (5419 W. Adams Blvd) from Noon to 5PM. These events are free, all-ages, family-focused gatherings that bring together live music, local vendors, food, education and creative activities.

Fatima’s 'Runway Boutique' is a brick and mortar with over 14 years in the retail business and tons of kudos and media attention. She recently relocated to the West Adams Corridor, and her strong community building skills are already in play as she collaborates with local businesses and residents for the Adam’s Fashion Market Day Party which also occurs every second Saturday at Runway Boutique (4755 West Adams Blvd 90016) from Noon – 6pm.

The upcoming second Saturday dates for these events are April 13th, May 11th and June 8th. See you there!!
