Friends of West Adams Association Raise Funds for Cleanup

The Friends of West Adams Association held a fundraising event Oct. 12 at 4959 West Adams Blvd. in the Church of Christ parking lot.
Members of the association, the Coalition for Economic Survival and high school seniors from Bright Star Schools offered members of the community car washes and home-cooked meals.They raised over $500 to fund a neighborhood cleanup in January to honor Martin Luther King's request to support community involvement.
